Return & Refund Policy for The Kirana Point App

At The Kirana Point, we are committed to delivering fresh and high-quality products. This policy outlines the terms for returns, replacements, and refunds.


1. Eligibility for Returns

Due to the nature of grocery and perishable items, returns are only accepted in the following cases:

  • Product is damaged, defective, or spoiled
  • Wrong item delivered
  • Missing items from the order

⚠️ You must report any issue within 1 hour of delivery.


2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are generally not eligible for return:

  • Perishable goods (unless damaged/spoiled)
  • Opened or used items
  • Products without original packaging
  • Items purchased under clearance or special discounts (unless defective)

3. Return Process

To request a return:

  1. Open The Kirana Point app
  2. Go to My Orders
  3. Select the order and click Report Issue / Return
  4. Upload images (if required)
  5. Submit your request

⏱️ Our team will review your request within 2–3 hours.


4. Refund Policy

Once your request is approved:

  • Refund will be processed within 1–7 business days
  • Refund will be credited to:
    • Original payment method, or
    • Wallet (if applicable)

5. Replacement Policy

  • You may request a replacement if the product is eligible and available
  • Replacement will be delivered in the next available delivery slot

⚠️ If replacement is not available, we may:

  • Deduct the delivery charge, and
  • Refund the remaining amount to your original payment method or wallet

6. Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can be cancelled before dispatch
  • Once out for delivery, cancellation may not be possible
  • Refunds for prepaid orders will follow the 1–7 day timeline

7. Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be issued when:

  • Only some items are damaged or missing
  • You agree to keep the product at a reduced price
